Honey Guide
Introduction
The gathering and manufacturing of honey is a great way for new players to make some early cash.
It is a relatively low risk activity, however it can also be used by more experienced players in the manufacturing of illegal mead. Check the Alcohol Guide for more information.
Requirements
To begin the career of a beekeeper you will require:
- Vehicle of choice - New players will tend to use the Offroad. Used to store additional worker bee's.
- Backpack - Will allow you to carry more worker bee's on your person.
- Optionally a weapon will be useful for self defense in the event someone threatens you.
Location
The Apiary is located north of Kavala, just west of the Dark Fungi Den. It is marked as a yellow triangle. Pull or buy a vehicle from Kavala DMV and drive about 3.5Km and turn left at the town of Kore. Then drive about 1.3km north to the Apiary.

Below outlines the steps for gathering honey.
- Once you arrive at the Apiary, purchase a Queen Bee from the bee keeper.
- With the queen bee in your inventory, begin to walk around the fenced in area of the Apiary to gather worker bees.
- You must keep walking without stopping in order to gather worker bees. (If you stop the bees will begin to sting you and slowly decay your health. If this happens simply exit the fenced area of the Apiary before you resume gathering.)
- Once you have a full inventory of worker bee's transfer them into your vehicle of choice.
- Repeat steps 2-4 until your vehicle and inventory is full of worker bee's.
Below outlines the steps for processing honey.
- Drive your worker bees to the Organic Processor. (Found just north of Lakka checkpoint near the center of the island.)
- Interact with the Organic Processor to trade your worker bee's for honeycomb.
- Continue this until all of your worker bee's have been exchanged for honeycomb.
Selling
Now that you have an inventory full of raw honeycomb you can take it to any market to sell for profit. The closest market would be located in the central city of Athira, approximately 2km northwest of the Organic Processor. Be sure to take caution when selling your goods as Athira can be a dangerous place where many players are robbed. Pull in behind the market, sell quickly, and deposit the cash into the ATM even quicker.
Alternatively as mentioned earlier, you can use the honeycomb to create illegal mead and eventually into aged mead. However this is only recommended for more experienced players as liquor is a much more dangerous and risky endeavor. You can learn more from the Alcohol Guide.
Additional Information
- Using larger vehicles such as a Van/HEMMT Transport/Mohawk can benefit your carrying capacity or travel time. However this comes with the additional risk of being more of a target for robbers.
- Avoid gathering honey with a bounty, as it is easy for police and bounty hunters to capture you out in the open.
- Because honeycomb is used by more experienced players to manufacture illegal liquor such as mead. You can opt to try and sell it at the asylum exchange to other players. While this could potentially be more profitable, the price and demand are subject to change.
