Introduction

This guide aims at helping the player with the most seen types of reports on Asylum. Each section explains what kind of evidence is needed, and which criteria need to be met in order for a sufficient report.

Always refer to Server Rules for more information.

Any reports you wish to make, create a ticket on the Asylum Forums here.

Player reports

Random Deathmatch

Random Deathmatch (RDM) is killing/downing a player without valid hostile initiation. See more here.

In order for you to make a valid report of an RDM, you need to have recorded 5 minutes up until the incident where you have been killed/downed. A valid initiation lasts 5 minutes, and in order for the admin to see that no valid initiation has been made on you, it is required a 5-minute video-footage prior to the incident. All other forms of reports of RDM are invalid.

Vehicular Deathmatch

Vehicular Deathmatch (VDM) is using your vehicle as an offensive weapon. That includes running into other vehicles (NOT armor vs armor) or into other players. See more here.

In order for you to make a valid report of a VDM, you need to have video evidence roughly 10 seconds before the incident happens. That is required, in order to see that the reported player is intentionally VDM'ing or otherwise.

Exploiting

Exploiting is knowingly using a bug or glitch for your own advantage. That includes exploiting in/out of houses or duplicating items by exploiting game mechanics (duping). See more here.

In order for you to make a valid exploit report, you need clear video evidence of the exploit happening. Even if you don't have sufficient evidence, make the report to potentially help with further reports on the player.

Combat Logging

Combat logging/Combat Suicide is an act where a player knowingly disconnects from the session or knowingly suicides when in combat or other roleplay situations (Pressing ESC -> suicide). See more here.

In order to report a player for combat logging/combat suicide, you either need FULL screenshots of a said player that's been downed/killed and immediately disconnecting for example.

Otherwise, a video showing the player being engaged in a roleplay situation/combat and disconnecting/respawning to avoid the situation.

Another scenario, where a player immediately disconnects and reconnects after being killed. Video evidence is needed in this situation.

Trolling/Harassment/Racism

Excessive trolling or general harassment can be a bannable offense. Racism is a no-go on the Asylum servers. See more here.

In order to report a trolling/harassment, post either a video or screenshot of the entire incident. The same applies to racism-related incidents.
